Cultures & Organizations 3rd ed to be translated into German
Finally, Beck publishers is about to translate Cultures and Organizations 3rd edition into German. Lokales Denken, globales Handlen, is the name in German. This is the edition with three authors: Geert Hofstede, Gert Jan Hofstede and Michael Minkov. It is also the one with six dimensions, of which Indulgence versus restraint is the latest addition. The edition is due to appear in the summer.
Conference on 17 February in Munich
To celebrate this, the three authors of the 2010 edition of ‘Cultures and Organizations’, together with others, will speak on 17 February at a conference in Munich. That venue is organized by local consultancy Twist. For more information or to register, go to the Twist site.
