This trailer (top video) shows the 2014 documentary (bottom video) "An Engineer's Odyssey" about Geert's life and work by Marcel Siegmund and Iekje Smit. Iekje has been Chair of the Geert Hofstede Consortium at Hanzehogeschool Groningen.
The documentary features many people who know Geert well, both in his personal and in his professional life. It does not contain Geert's theories. For those, look under 'culture'.
Online exhibition
Geerts passed away on 12 February 2020. One year later, a lively online exhibition, including youth pictures, many interviews of him by Iekje Smit, and Hofstede's Globe, opens. Go to the exhibition.
